Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Route Sales Representative (RSR) is responsible for distributing 5-gallon bottled water to existing customers according to the planned delivery route while attending to any additional delivery requirements. The role also involves developing the assigned territory by acquiring new customers and maintaining strong relationships with the existing customer base to ensure consistent sales and service levels.

How Will You Make an Impact?

  • Achieve assigned sales targets for the allocated territory by focusing on daily sales and distribution goals.
  • Develop the territory by acquiring new customers and expanding the existing customer base.
  • Execute the daily journey plan, ensuring all assigned outlets are visited and orders are delivered on time.
  • Deliver products efficiently while ensuring accurate loading/unloading and proper merchandising at outlets.
  • Maintain product visibility, distribution, and shelf presentation in line with company standards.
  • Collect payments as per approved credit terms and ensure accurate invoice and documentation.
  • Monitor product freshness, manage returns, and take action on near-expiry stock.
  • Maintain proper sales materials, stock records, and delivery documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure high service levels and repeat business.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition and report market feedback, competitor activity, and operational issues to the Sales Supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school certificate or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:

• 1 2 years of FMCG experience in van sales or HOD delivery.

Functional Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of FMCG products and services.

• Knowledge of pricing strategies.

• Familiarity with regional geography and customer landscape.

• Understanding of sales processes, controls, and compliance.

• Basic proficiency in arithmetic and handheld device usage

• Valid UAE manual driving license 3 Ton Pick up

Job-Specific Skills:

• Prior UAE market experience is preferred.
