Roles & Responsibilities

RSA Archer Platform Configuration & Administration

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Archer solutions across multiple use cases, including but not limited to: Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, IT Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Policy Management, Issues Management, Incident Management, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery, and IT Controls Assurance.
  • Configure core Archer components, including applications, questionnaires, fields (calculated, cross-reference, and value lists), record permissions, access roles, notifications, advanced workflows (AWF), data-driven events, and dashboards/iViews.
  • Build and maintain complex risk scoring models, inherent/residual risk calculations, and dynamic reporting.

Integration, Data Management & Backend Administration

  • Design and manage Data Feeds (DFM), data imports/exports, and integrations with enterprise systems (LDAP, CMDB, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
  • Administer Archer instances via Archer Control Panel (ACP), monitor jobs, perform upgrades/patching, and optimise performance.
  • Oversee environment management (Dev, QA, Prod), packaging, transport, and release governance.

Business Analysis, Solution Design & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with risk, compliance, cybersecurity, and business teams to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate needs into scalable Archer solutions.
  • Author Functional Design Documents (FDD) and Technical Design Documents (TDD).
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), stakeholder walkthroughs, training sessions, and creation of SOPs.
  • Champion Archer best practices in application design, data model optimisation, workflow governance, and reusability.

Platform Governance, Upgrades & Support

  • Ensure platform stability, security, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate upgrades, regression testing, and change management processes to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Provide Tier-3 support and troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues.

Enterprise Risk & Cybersecurity Domain Leadership

  • Apply deep knowledge of ERM (risk taxonomy, risk registers, KRIs, mitigation tracking) and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) to design fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Collaborate with Information Security and Risk Management teams to automate control testing, vulnerability management, and cyber risk reporting within Archer.

Position Objectives

The Senior RSA Archer Solution Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end design, configuration, deployment, and ongoing administration of the enterprise RSA Archer GRC platform.

This strategic role ensures that Archer solutions fully support the organisation s Governance, Risk, and Compliance objectives across Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Cybersecurity Risk, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), IT Controls Assurance, Business Continuity, and related domains.

Shall act as the primary technical authority on Archer, drive platform governance, lead complex implementations, and align solutions with leading risk frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO ERM, NIST CSF, etc.).

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Management, Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in GRC technology, risk management, or information security domains.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on RSA Archer administration, solution design, and end-to-end implementation experience (version 6.x or higher) in large enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record of leading at least 3 5 full-life-cycle Archer deployments covering multiple use cases.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Archer modules: On-Demand Applications, Advanced Workflow, Data Feed Manager, iViews, Calculated Fields, Access Control, and Integration capabilities.
  • Strong command of risk frameworks: ISO 31000, COSO ERM, NIST CSF, NIST RMF, ISO 27001.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership in Cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.
  • Superior analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
