Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The RTR QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of RTR/GRP piping systems during material receipt, installation, jointing, testing, and commissioning activities in accordance with project specifications, approved procedures, and applicable international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect RTR/GRP pipes, fittings, and accessories upon delivery and during installation.
- Monitor pipe alignment, joint preparation, adhesive bonding, lamination, and curing processes.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections as per approved ITPs and drawings.
- Witness hydrostatic, pressure, and leak testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved Method Statements, project specifications, and standards.
- Raise NCRs, follow up corrective actions, and close quality issues.
- Maintain inspection records, test reports, and QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC teams, consultants, and client representatives.
- Technical Knowledge
- RTR/GRP jointing methods: adhesive bonding, lamination, mechanical joints.
- Familiar with ASTM, ISO, AWWA, and ASME standards related to RTR/GRP piping.
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
u>Qualifications & Certifications/u>
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Valid RTR / GRP Inspector Valid Certification from Amiantit or Future pipes.
u>Experience/u>
- Minimum 58 years of experience in RTR/GRP piping inspection.
- Oil & Gas or Petrochemical project experience preferred.
- Prior experience in Saudi projects (Saudi Aramco / SABIC standards) is an advantagestrong>.
