Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and customize rubber compounds based on customer drawings,
specifications, and application requirements.
Work with a wide range of elastomers, including NR, SBR, NBR, EPDM, neoprene,
silicone, and specialty compounds.
Support custom product manufacturing processes such as compression molding,
transfer molding, injection molding, extrusion, and vulcanization.
Assist in raw material evaluation, supplier qualification, and cost optimization
initiatives.
Conduct laboratory and in-process testing (rheology, tensile, elongation, hardness,
compression set, aging, etc.)
Troubleshoot compound and process-related issues specific to custom and low-volume production runs.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to evaluate feasibility, material
selection, and cost estimates for new custom projects.
Assist in prototype development, sampling, and trial production forthe customer
approvals
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, Chemical
Engineering, or related discipline
3-7+ years of experience in custom rubber product development or manufacturing
Hands-on experience with rubber compounding, curing systems, and custom tooling
considerations
Strong understanding of customer-specific requirements, tolerances, and
performance standards.
