Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Summary

    To ensure delivery of food orders to customers are quick and accurately done.


    To uphold sanitation and food safety principles.


    Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash.


    To check in with customers and ensure their experience is satisfactory.


    To relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties.


    To ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food.


    To assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations.


    To handle various impromptu requests from customers.


    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent preferred, though often not strictly required with relevant experience.

    Any relevant food handler or hygiene certifications (e.g., local health department certificates) are a plus.

    Previous experience (3-6 months minimum) in a restaurant, banquet, or high-volume food service setting is highly desirable.

    Familiarity with basic dining room and kitchen operations, including plate identification, service etiquette, and clearing procedures.

    Must be able to carry and balance heavily loaded service trays

    Clear and professional verbal communication to accurately relay information
