Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Accountability Areas
Key Activities
Safety Risk Assessment
- Assist in the development, implementation and optimization of safety risk assessment
- Support in developing a risk management framework to predict future safety risks from systems and ensure they are properly mitigated
- Conduct assessment for projects and core services and perform analysis to study impact of any projector change in systems
- Follow up on implementation of safety risk assessment outcomes and recommendations
- Coordinate with auditing function in execution of comprehensive audit function
- Follow-upon corrective action plans and reports on any problems with their implementation
Change Management
- Ensure effective monitoring of all changes that are affecting the safety of air navigation services including organizational changes
- Ensure the review of Initial Safety Impact Assessments (ISIAs), Safety Risk Assessments (SRAs) and Project Safety Cases (PSCs) for all changes impacting the safety of air navigation services including organizational changes
- Conduct targeted safety audits related to the management of changes
- Monitor the effectiveness of the change management processes and take the appropriate actions to ensure their enhancements
- Propose updates to the SMS change management processes to enhance their effectiveness
- Conduct training and awareness sessions to Staff about the change management processes & procedures.

- Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Desired Candidate Profile
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Safety Management System (SMS) and Air Navigation Services (ANS)
Education and Certifications
A. Essential
1) Technical Diploma in Aviation or related field is required.
B. Desirable
1) Certification training in (Air Traffic Management, Electronics, Communication, System Engineering.International & National Regulations, Air Traffic Safety Electronic Personnel, ATC incident investigation, Human factors, Fatigue Risk Management, Safety Management, Quality Management System).
