A day in the lifeAs a safety coordinator, your day-to-day activities would likely include the following:

Safety Inspections:
Conduct daily walk through inspections of the facility Perform GEMBA walks to identify potential hazards and safety concerns
Safety Meetings:
Lead or participate in daily safety briefings with teams Attend and contribute to regular safety committee meetings
Incident Management:
Respond to and investigate any safety incidents or near-misses Document incidents in Amazon's Gensuite system Assist in developing and implementing corrective actions
Safety Data Management:
Monitor and update safety metrics and KPIs Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
Permit to Work System:
Review and approve daily work permits for high-risk activities

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field Minimum 3 year of experience in a similar role Knowledge of UAE safety laws and regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in English and Arabic NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification preferred
