Role Summary
Parsons Corporation is hiring a Safety Engineer to oversee health and safety compliance on major infrastructure projects across Dubai. The role ensures all works meet corporate HSE standards, Dubai Municipality codes, RTA guidelines, and client requirements. You will monitor contractor performance, review safety plans, conduct inspections, and drive proactive safety culture across highways, bridges, and underpass projects.

What You ll Do
* Implement corporate HSE policies, site safety plans, and regional legislation
* Liaise with safety managers and contractors to enforce and improve standards
* Review risk assessments, emergency plans, and method statements for compliance
* Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and ensure corrective actions are completed
* Monitor contractor HSE performance and reports, ensuring compliance with KPIs
* Lead monthly safety meetings, document outcomes, and track progress
* Investigate incidents and accidents, communicate lessons learned, and oversee corrective measures
* Support emergency preparedness drills, permit-to-work systems, and toolbox talks
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or Engineering with safety specialization
* 8+ years of safety engineering experience in highways, bridges, and underpass projects within UAE
* Recognized certifications: NEBOSH IGC, Fire Safety, First Aid, Safety Diploma
* Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality Code, RTA circulars, and federal safety laws
* Desired: ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 audit certifications
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Ability to attend physical interviews in the UAE
