Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and engineering controls.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments, hazard analysis, and safety studies (e.g., HAZOP, JSA).
- Design and recommend safety systems, equipment, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety standards.
- Review engineering designs and project plans for safety compliance.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and performance monitoring.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to improve safety measures.
- Provide technical guidance on safety-related matters.
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, documentation, and compliance records.
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
