Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Site Inspections: Conduct daily walk-through inspections across all factory departments to identify unsafe acts or conditions and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Work Permits: Review, issue, and monitor work permits (e.g., Working at Heights, Hot Work, Confined Spaces), ensuring full compliance with safety isolation procedures.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensure proper use of PPE by employees and visitors, and verify that all protective equipment is in good working condition.
- Emergency & Fire Safety: Carry out routine inspections of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and first-aid kits to maintain emergency preparedness.
- Environmental Compliance: Monitor emissions and industrial waste disposal activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Safety Training: Support the delivery of toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions for employees, new hires, and contractors.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily HSE activities and promptly report incidents, accidents, and near misses to the HSE Manager.
- Emergency Response: Actively participate as a member of the emergency response and evacuation teams during drills and real emergency situations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, chemistry or related science degree.
OSHA General industry , First Aid & CPR , Firefighting , Health and safety management system , Risk assessment ,Governmental HSE Specialist , NEBOSH is a Plus.
Must have from 2 - 3 Experience in HSE.
Aware of the legislation and laws related to HSE.
Relevant certificates for HSE management system, firefighting, first aid, etc.
Experience in delivering awareness and technical training.
A very strong and confident personality with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to take initiatives and provide and implement strategic plans.
