Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the organization.
- Provide training and education programs for employees on safety practices, emergency response, and hazard recognition.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a safety officer role within an industrial or construction environment.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering safety training programs tailored to various audiences.
