Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project-specific HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) plans

  • Conduct risk assessments for MEP activities

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards

  • Perform daily site inspections to identify hazards  

  • Review and issue permits

  • Ensure all required precautions are in place before work starts

  • Conduct daily/weekly toolbox talks

  • Train workers on PPE usage, electrical safety, fire prevention and emergency procedures.  Induct new workers on site safety rules

  • Report accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis.  Recommend corrective and preventive actions

  • Maintain PPE records and inspections

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers & subcontractors

  • Conduct fire drills and evacuation drills

  • Maintain records of safety inspections, training session

  • Prepare reports for audits and client review

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduation in any discipline with minimum of 6-8 years experience in MEP industry.

  • Candidates must hold valid Nebosh & IOSH certifications.

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations

  • Risk assessment and hazard identification

  • Communication and leadership
