Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement effective safety training programs tailored to the specific needs of the workforce, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions, preventing future incidents.
- Collaborate with management to create and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring all personnel are prepared for any potential crisis.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred for foundational knowledge.
Must have NEBOSH.
Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent demonstrates a commitment to professional standards in safety management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role within the construction or manufacturing industry, showcasing hands-on expertise.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards, ensuring compliance in all safety practices.
