Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Safety, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years experience as a Safety Officer in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Construction projects (GCC experience preferred).
  • Certifications (Mandatory/Preferred):
    • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
    • Aramco / SABIC / RC HSE approval (highly preferred for NSH projects)
  • Knowledge of relevant international and Saudi safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, ISO 45001).
  • Good understanding of Permit to Work (PTW) systems, risk assessment, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, report preparation).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence and train multi-national workforces.
  • Proficient in English (spoken & written); Arabic is an advantage.
