Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) plans for the STP construction site.

  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with all UAE HSE regulations, client requirements, and company safety policies.

  • Monitor and enforce safe work practices, including proper use of PPE at all times.

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and recommendations.

  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training for site personnel.

  • Coordinate with project management, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and compliance reports for audits and inspections

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects.

  • Proven experience managing HSE activities across full project lifecycle.

  • Must hold a recognized safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC or equivalent).

  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk assessment techniques, and industry safety standards.

  • Experience in implementing site safety plans and monitoring compliance on construction sites.

  • Skilled in conducting safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.

  • Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure in large-scale construction environments.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and strong commitment to safety culture
