1. Safety Operations & Site Monitoring

• Conduct daily safety inspections across plant, shutdown, and maintenance activities
• Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems and ensure compliance with procedures
• Identify unsafe acts/conditions and ensure immediate corrective actions

2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control

• Lead or support Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Risk Assessments
• Verify control measures for high-risk activities (hot work, confined space, lifting, work at height)
• Support Management of Change (MOC) safety reviews

3. Incident Management

• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe behaviors
• Prepare detailed incident reports with root cause analysis
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented

4. Compliance & Auditing

• Ensure compliance with ORYX GTL HSE policies and Qatar regulatory requirements
• Participate in internal and contractor safety audits
• Track HSE KPIs such as incidents, near misses, and corrective actions

5. Contractor & Workforce Safety

• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for contractors and staff
• Monitor contractor compliance with HSE standards
• Coach workers on safe work practices

6. Safety Culture Development

• Promote Zero Harm safety culture in line with ORYX GTL values
• Support behavior-based safety initiatives and awareness campaigns
• Encourage reporting of unsafe conditions and proactive safety behavior
