1. Position Summary

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for monitoring site activities, ensuring compliance with NSH and client HSE standards, and promoting a safe working environment across all project operations.

Key Responsibilities

Site Safety Monitoring

• Supervise day-to-day safety activities at site and ensure compliance with HSE procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, walk-downs, and correct unsafe practices.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers.

Risk & Hazard Control

• Assist in hazard identification and Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA).
• Verify toolbox talks, permit-to-work (PTW), and method statement compliance.
• Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents immediately.

Training & Awareness

• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety awareness sessions.
• Guide workers on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and client HSE rules.

Incident Management

• Assist in incident/accident investigations and prepare initial reports.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure closure.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily safety logs, inspection checklists, and attendance of safety meetings.
• Submit daily/weekly safety reports to the HSE Manager and client.

Emergency Preparedness

• Support emergency drills and ensure readiness of firefighting and first-aid equipment.
• Coordinate with HSE team during emergencies.
