Roles & Responsibilities

Performing periodic safety equipment inspection service not limited to (i.e. safety shower, windsock, breathing apparatus, escape hood cabinets, Personal gas detector etc.), safety support during emergencies, safety inspections, Permit Audits and any safety services assigned by COMPANY.


Knowledge Skills and Experience:

• High school Certificate

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Occupational Health and safety field in oil and gas or relevant industry.

• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.

• Good computer skills and good understanding of Microsoft Office tools

• Good understanding regarding the work and correct usage of different types of safety equipment including working at height equipment.

• Good communication (oral) skills in English

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as team member.

• Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Result Areas:

• Inspection of Breathing Apparatus equipment for CONTRACTORs.

• Inspection for safety critical equipment (i.e. safety shower, windsock, breathing apparatus, escape hood cabinets, Personal gas detector etc.).

• Perform Permit Audits, report Safety observations, deliver safety communications etc.

• Maintain inspection records and prepare reports as directed by COMPANY from time to time.

• To verify heat stress controls, attend night shift management walk during summer season, conduct inspection during night shift.

• Review Safety Documentation, procedure etc. and provide technical feedback.

• Endorse PTW associated forms such as Ventilation plans, HSTC forms, JSA, risk screening etc.

• Incident investigation facilitation


TRAININGS AND CERTIFICATES:

  • User training for MSA, Scott Sabre, Drager SCBA by OEM approved training provider
  • Driving License with 3 years driving experience in total or 3rd party practical defensive driving training
  • Work @height Equipment inspector certificate. Conforming BS8437:2005 standard.
  • SCBA Refilling training (Using BA Compressor)
  • BA Standby (Bottle Watch) third party training.
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Training
  • Taproot incident investigation tool
