Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Identify and contact new potential clients in the logistics and transport sector.
- Negotiation: Present our logistics service offerings and negotiate contract terms to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Customer Follow-up: Maintain a positive relationship with existing customers, ensure their satisfaction and respond to their specific requests.
- Market Analysis: Studying the logistics market to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management, highlighting performance and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaboration: Working closely with operational and marketing teams to align sales strategies and optimize services offered.
- Degree in business, logistics, marketing or related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong sense of customer service.
- Ability to work independently while also being an active member of the team.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management, with particular attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques, preferably in the logistics sector.
- Proficiency in computer tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Prior sales experience in the logistics or transport sector is an asset.
