Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As Sales and Marketing Executive, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to strategically position our unique offering and update sales tactics.
  • Work in line with the overall business strategy to not only achieve but exceed the forecasted budget for room revenue and other key revenue areas.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales action plans to establish new business and nurture existing accounts, ensuring a robust pipeline.
  • Convert sales leads and proactively solicit and close business, presenting our resort and the wider Six Senses collection as the definitive choice.
  • Personally conduct captivating site inspections and familiarization tours that authentically showcase our Out of the Ordinary experiences and wellness pillars.
  • Maintain a dynamic and regular call pattern, entertaining prospects and key accounts to sustain business and generate future sales.
  • Develop and maintain contact with a diverse portfolio of business generators, including meeting planners, tour operators, corporate accounts, and other producers closely aligned with our business.
  • Build a strong profile in the marketplace and foster relationships within the local community and relevant industry networks.
  • Effectively use all reporting systems to provide accurate and timely updates on sales activities, market intelligence, and successes.
  • Work seamlessly with the Marketing and Reservations teams to support collateral distribution, direct mail campaigns, and profile-raising initiatives.
  • Instill a revenue-focused philosophy and ensure that all sales activities are conducted ethically, honestly, and within the parameters of local law.

Qualifications :

To execute the position of Sales and Marketing Executive, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

  • Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Possess at least one year of related sales experience in a luxury environment, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
  • Technical skills include proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with hotel-specific systems such as PMS and sales platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the resort and the Six Senses brand.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving, organizational abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, operating standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Fluent in English.
