Roles & Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Sales Assistant will support the Sales Manager in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving business growth, and expanding the terminal s customer portfolio. This role requires proactive follow-up with clients, preparation of reports, and organization of sales activities to ensure smooth execution of the commercial strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sales Manager in developing and maintaining relationships with Cargo Owners, local shipping lines, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, and other logistics partners.
  • Follow up with Cargo Owner clients on inquiries.
  • Sales agenda growth in line with the strategic guidelines. By identifying potential new customers and business opportunities.
  • Enlarging of the terminal customer portfolio. Focusing on our end-user customers.
  • Prepare regular Sales and Customer Performance Reports.
  • Helping the Sales Manager to build up and to maintain the Sales Pipeline.
  • Organize sales meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist in planning promotional events, client visits, and trade shows.

Desired Candidate Profile

Core Expertise and Experiences Required:

  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
  • 5 Years track record of active experience in Sales coordination and business development.
  • In-depth understanding of the Local Market Mapping and the Local Cargo Flow and Dynamics and how does this play in the Key Trades.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain domestic hurdles and opportunities.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
