Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- To provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers, understanding their needs and offering suitable product recommendations.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets by actively promoting products and upselling.
- Manage customer transactions (cash, bank cards and digital payments) efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure the store is well-stocked, clean and attractive by adhering to merchandising guidelines.
- Stay informed about product features, promotions and retail trends in the travel industry to better advise customers.
- Ensure compliance with Duty-Free and customs regulations.
- Participate in stock replenishment, inventory checks and report any anomalies.
- To answer customer questions and resolve their complaints professionally and quickly.
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift items if necessary.
- Availability to work night shifts.
- Report accurately and clearly the activities carried out.
- Perform any other tasks reasonably required for this position.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in sales or retail, preferably in the Duty-Free or luxury sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse international clientele.
- Proactive and sales-oriented attitude, with a constant focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks and adapt to flexible hours (weekends, evenings and holidays).
- Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Proficiency in the required languages (English, French and Arabic).
- Clean criminal record.
