Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Sales & Customer Service

  • Greet and assist customers professionally, identifying their furniture and home furnishing needs.
  • Provide detailed product information including features, materials, pricing, warranties, and delivery timelines.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing offers or campaigns.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.

2. Cashiering & Transactions

  • Process cash, POS, and credit/debit card transactions accurately.
  • Issue receipts, invoices, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation and ensure zero discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper filing of sales documents and payment records.

3. Store Operations

  • Ensure showroom displays are clean, organized, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Assist in stock replenishment and coordinate with the warehouse for product availability.
  • Participate in inventory counts and stock audits.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Collect and update customer information in the system.
  • Follow up with customers regarding deliveries, pending payments, or after-sales service.
  • Support long-term customer retention and brand loyalty.

Desired Candidate Profile

High school diploma or Bachelor s degree preferred.

Minimum 2 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture or home d cor.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Basic accounting and cash handling knowledge.

Familiarity with POS systems and retail software.

Presentable appearance and customer-focused attitude.
