Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide excellent service
Process customer payments using a cash register or POS system Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
Maintain knowledge of products to assist customers with purchases
Assist with store operations, including stocking shelves and ensuring the store is organized
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues as needed
Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift and prepare daily sales reports
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and handling cash transactions
Skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately
Basic math skills for calculations and cash handling
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
