Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a key role in driving business growth by reaching out to B2B clients through outbound efforts. Your focus will be on engaging warm and hot leads, as well as re-engaging old leads, using both phone and email communication. The primary objective of this role is to qualify prospects interested in securing funding and guide them through the process of completing funding applications. This position requires a proactive self-starter with strong results orientation, excellent relationship-building skills, and a commitment to consistent lead generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Outreach & Lead Generation
- Conduct outreach to B2B clients, using both phone calls and email campaigns to engage prospects.
- Re-engage old leads and follow up with warm and hot leads to rekindle interest and drive them through the qualification process.
- Re-engage with leads who submitted an application but did not submit bank statements (which are needed for underwriting).
Lead Qualification & Funding Application
- Qualify leads by assessing their interest in funding solutions and guiding them through the necessary steps to fill out funding forms.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy when gathering and documenting lead information.
CRM Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM, tracking lead progression and follow-up actions.
- Report on outreach efforts, including conversion rates, meetings booked, and lead status updates.
Collaboration with Sales Team
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure that qualified leads are properly handed off for further engagement and processing.
- Assist the sales team with any additional information or materials required to close deals.
Proactive Approach & Focus
- Be proactive in reaching out to prospects and maintaining focus on consistently meeting lead generation and qualification goals.
- Stay organized, ensuring timely follow-ups and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
Experience
- 1 3 years of experience in sales development or lead generation, preferably in B2B sales.
- Background in outreach, cold calling, and email marketing.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple leads while staying organized.
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for helping businesses secure funding and contributing to company growth.
