Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Searching for new clients who could benefit from your products in a designated region.
  • Previous experience in handling Marine, EPC, Petro-chemical, Shipyards, Oil & Gas Clients (Upstream & Downstream).
  • Well-versed with handling of Drilling Contractors, Shipping companies, Shipyards & Vessel Owners.
  • Travelling to visit potential clients within Qatar, i.e., Ras Laffan, Mesaieed & Dukhan.
  • Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with customers.
  • Establishes new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
  • Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs.
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms.
  • Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing on terms and conditions.
  • Offering after-sales support services.
  • Administering client accounts; recording and maintaining client contact data.
  • Meeting regular sales targets and achieving monthly targets set by the company.
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs.
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical support teams.
  • Attending & responding to customer queries.
  • Follow up on customers requirements and feedback to obtain further feedback.
  • Ensure proper services to the client.
  • Maintain business relationships with customers of all levels.
  • Develop close relationships with clients and relevant departments to ensure the sales/payments needs in the future.
  • Keep day-to-day contacts and regular visits with clients.
  • Monitor market activities and update the management team with periodical reports.
  • Coordinate with stores & logistics for the materials delivery.
  • Follow the procedures of the company for executing sales.
  • Expand existing customers with effective planning & Presentation.
  • Provide accurate market information through weekly sales reports & consolidated monthly sales reports to the top management.
  • Responsible for developing new markets and studying market strategies to increase sales.
  • Preparation of weekly sales report/payment collection & follow-up of outstanding payments.
  • Maintain the list of clients with the sales margins.
  • Update oneself with current affairs and new technologies.
  • Must be conversant with the Quality/HSE systems & Procedures.
  • Work as a team with the sales department; contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor s Degree.
  • Well-versed with the Market.
  • Must have 3 to 5 yrs experience in Sales; advantage in Safety products.
  • Age between 25 and 35 years old.
  • Good English communication.
  • Available in Qatar with transferrable NOC.
