Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer with experience in heat exchangers to drive sales, develop client relationships, and expand market presence in Oman. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge combined with commercial acumen in industrial equipment sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities for heat exchanger products across key industries (Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical, HVAC, etc.)
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, EPC contractors, and consultants
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements
Provide product selection, sizing, and technical support to customers
Coordinate with internal engineering and manufacturing teams for customized solutions
Participate in tenders, bidding processes, and contract negotiations
Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical presentations
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3–8 years of experience in sales of heat exchangers or similar thermal equipment
Strong knowledge of heat exchanger types (Shell & Tube, Air-Cooled, etc.)
Experience working with EPC contractors and industrial clients in the Middle East
Familiarity with international standards (ASME, TEMA, API, etc.)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Valid driving license (preferred in Oman/GCC)
Preferred Skills:
Technical understanding of thermal calculations and selection software
Existing client network in Oman or GCC market
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
