Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A motivated Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the Alexandria region by identifying new clients, understanding customer requirements, and providing technical and commercial solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong relationship-building and account-management skills to maximize client potential and ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify new clients in the Alexandria region who could benefit from our products (architects, interior designers, owners, small contractors, prescribers, and related stakeholders).
- Initiate contact with decision-makers and influencers, understand their needs, and position our products as the best solution in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients by effectively managing and interpreting their requirements.
- Conduct pre-sales activities: provide technical guidance, product education, and demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Support on specific projects to identify the most suitable product solution; prepare and submit samples, technical data sheets, and official documents for material approvals.
- Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and commercial documents; support negotiations and closing of orders.
- Deliver after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
- Analyze costs, pricing, and sales metrics; provide meaningful reports and insights to management.
- Manage collection activities and follow-up to ensure timely payments and reduce overdue balances.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, supply chain, and project management) to ensure on-time delivery and project success.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements relevant to the region.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering
- Excellent communication,
