Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
    • To fulfill the duty to advise clients
    • Promote offers tailored to the customer's needs
    • Develop and retain a client portfolio
    • Create, develop and maintain a network of relationships with the various market players (specifiers, design offices, architects, developers, purchasing managers, installers, inspection offices, fire safety system coordinators, project management and contracting authorities, etc.)
    • Prospecting for new clients (travel, databases, etc.)
    • Apply the defined commercial policy
    • Participate in the organization of local trade events
    • Participate in national trade shows
ACTIVITY MONITORING AND OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT:

  • Responsible for ensuring that the quote and commercial offer are prepared in accordance with customer needs and internal procedures
  • Ensuring the conformity of the contract documents file
  • Prepare the response to the call for tenders for public contracts and ensure its compliance with the contractual documents of the public contracts.
  • Prepare (with or without ATBE) the quotes and technical reports for the projects under his/her responsibility
  • Analyze the information gathered from account managers and sales representatives for works and services in order to develop commercial offers
  • Actively participate in the development of the offer within the framework of specific projects in collaboration with the Project Manager
  • To cover the entire geographical area in order to grow one's client portfolio
  • Monitor sales offers by ensuring portfolio follow-ups
  • Prepare monthly quarterly order forecasts
  • Establish and negotiate the pricing proposal in accordance with the objectives set by DEF (margin, billable days, etc.)
  • Negotiate the terms and conditions of payment in accordance with the payment rules defined by DEF
  • Participate in debt recovery activities in support of the Assistant and the TN Manager and Technical Manager

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics/electrotechnics

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred (industrial sector experience preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills
  • Good technical understanding of the products/services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mobility and availability for travel
  • Personal vehicle required and valid driver's license
