Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description Sales Engineer (Lighting Solutions)
Responsible for promoting and selling lighting products to government and ministry clients. Manage assigned accounts end-to-end: identify opportunities, build partnerships, prepare proposals, secure approvals, track projects, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business opportunities in indoor, outdoor, architectural, and industrial lighting.
- Engage with consultants, contractors, end-users, and government clients to promote solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on technical/commercial quotations and tender submissions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide pre/post-sales technical support.
- Coordinate with OEMs for product approvals and technical clarifications.
- Report on market trends, competition, sales forecasts, and project pipelines.
- Support marketing events and product presentations.
Skills & Requirements
- Knowledge of lighting technologies; familiarity with design tools like Dialux is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driving license preferred.
