Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Engineer


We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer with expertise in Fire Protection Systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying customer needs, providing technical solutions, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role bridges the gap between engineering and sales, ensuring clients receive high-quality fire protection solutions that meet both regulatory requirements and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the fire protection market, including commercial, industrial sectors.
  • Provide technical presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to develop customized fire protection solutions.
  • Understand and interpret fire safety codes, standards (NFPA, FM Global, etc.), and customer specifications.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with key clients and consultants.
  • Collaborate with project and service teams to ensure smooth handover and execution.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the fire protection industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire suppression, detection, alarm, and sprinkler systems.
  • Familiarity with local and international fire protection codes (e.g., NFPA, UL, FM).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Self-driven with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD, CRM tools, or fire system design software is a plus.
  • Must have experience in fire protection markets.
