Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory, focusing on both import and export shipments.
  • Prospect and qualify new leads, nurturing them into long-term clients by understanding their shipping needs and providing tailored solutions for their supply chains.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors to secure competitive pricing for customers, optimizing profitability while offering value-added services.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field provides a strong foundation for understanding the industry.
  • Possession of relevant certifications like FIATA or similar, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and industry standards.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience within the NVOCC or freight forwarding industry, showcasing a track record of success.
  • Experience in the shipping industry, with a focus on NVOCC operations, providing a deep understanding of the complexities of global logistics.
