Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve parts sales target according to plan.
- Prioritizes sales activities towards achieving set targets.
- Demonstrate the products to customers at the counter, review catalogues and determine customer s needs.
- Demonstrate good salesmanship skills by taking all measures to close a sale and ensure customers are satisfied.
- Explain to customers the functioning of the equipment.
- Negotiate selling price with customers offering discounts as per company s policy and guidelines.
- Record and authenticate lost sales, mentioning the reasons and presenting to the Supervisor for review.
- Inform the Sales Supervisor of any deviations discovered in the stock, for making parts claim with supplier.
- Maintain documentation on special orders from customers and spare parts cannibalized from stock vehicles.
- Ensure that the stock in the branch is maintained in the proper place and replenished from time to time.
- Assist in inventory control in identifying the slow and dead stocks.
- Ensure items as per customers request are supplied
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma Mechanical Engineering or anything related to Automobile Mechanic.
Experience:
Minimum 3-4 years of experience within Similar role in Automotive sector.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of Auto Parts and of updating company s & competitor s products.
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Problem solving skills
Strong customer handling skills
