Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct margin analysis and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Approve key operational spends including promotions, listings, rentals, and customer credit.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and optimize trade execution.
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and key accounts.
  • Define and implement sales strategies, pricing, and product portfolio plans.
  • Monitor sales performance and resolve inventory issues like aged or slow-moving stock.
  • Manage key customer relationships and handle escalations.
  • Plan and execute major trade marketing activities and promotional events.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely documentation.
  • Manage budgeting for sales, manpower, and capital expenses.
  • Track trade spends, prepare reports, and deliver actionable business insights.
  • Develop SOPs and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Support new product launches and private label initiatives based on market trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA or graduate with 7–10 years of FMCG experience in Bahrain.
  • Strong understanding of local trade dynamics and key account management.
  • Proven track record in negotiating trade contracts and managing large sales teams.
  • Skilled in business planning, performance tracking, and gap analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Valid Bahrain driving license is mandatory.
  • Experience in SOP development and implementation.
  • Exposure to category management is a plus.
