YOUR DAY TO DAY

The Sales Manager Corporate is responsible for proactively managing and growing corporate account production across both FIT and Group segments. This role plays a critical part in driving Corporate segment revenue, building long-term client relationships, and positioning Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay as the preferred destination for business travel, corporate events and extended stays.

Your skillset required for the job :

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans with the proactive team, targeting key corporate accounts within assigned markets.
  • Actively prospect, qualify, and convert corporate business for both individual (FIT) and group segments.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to maximize account penetration.
  • Monitor and evaluate account performance, booking trends, and market movements.
  • Produce monthly sales reports, forecasts, and account reviews to support leadership decisions.
  • Detailed knowledge of Corporate RFP process and competitor set.
  • Ensure personal annual budgets are achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across top corporate accounts.
  • Represent the hotel at key industry events, trade shows and familiarization trips when required.
  • Manage assigned corporate key accounts to maximize revenue, achieve personal targets and increase fair market share versus the competitor set.
  • Use SMART contracting to ensure optimum yield during annual rate negotiations.
  • Support the ADOS in preparing the annual budget by providing statistics, account production forecasts, and executing sales action plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue and Events teams to ensure optimal conversion and pricing.
  • Deliver an IHG client experience throughout the sales cycle and after conversion.
  • Resolve client concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications and experience :

  • Bachelor s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in business or related field.
  • Four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience in a sales team.
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required.
