Sales Manager Experience in Packaging industry

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and satisfaction.

Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring professional handling and resolution.

Identify and approach potential new customers in the cement, building materials, and industrial packaging sectors.

Sales & Business Development

Support the execution of sales strategies for the Suez plant, focusing on volume growth, margin improvement, and market share expansion.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract conditions within delegated authority and in coordination with the Sales Manager.

Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer requirements to provide actionable feedback.

Prepare monthly sales forecasts aligned with production and logistics capacities.

Order Management & Coordination

Liaise with Planning, Production, and Logistics to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of customer orders.

Track order status, monitor delivery performance, and proactively communicate with customers.

Support Finance in managing receivables and ensuring timely collections.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports with analysis of volumes, margins, and customer KPIs.

Monitor KPIs including sales volume, coverage, on-time delivery, and customer complaints, recommending corrective actions as needed.

Systems & Teamwork

Utilize ERP / SAP systems for order processing, invoicing, and customer records.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and colleagues across Sales, Production, and Finance to achieve company targets.
