Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in UAE and regional markets
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals
- Expand client base in industries like food packaging, personal care, and pharma
- Develop innovative products to boost company revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributors
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored flexible packaging solutions
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies in the UAE, GCC and Africa
- Provide insights to support product development and positioning
- Identify emerging opportunities (e.g., sustainable packaging, recyclable materials)
- Develop, lead, mentor and manage the sales team
- Set KPIs and monitor performance against targets
- Conduct regular sales reviews and training sessions
- Work closely with production, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
- Report to senior management on sales performance and market developments
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5–10+ years of sales experience in flexible packaging, plastics, or related industry
- Strong network within potential market
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Technical understanding of flexible packaging (films, laminates, printing, etc.)
- Ability to manage key accounts and large contracts
- Leadership and team management capabilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office
- Must have UAE driving license
- Willingness to travel
