Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in the FMCG sector, focusing on snacks, chips, bakery items, and dry food products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, driving market expansion, and managing key customer relationships.

Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets. Lead, train, and supervise the sales team to ensure high performance. Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts. Identify new business opportunities and potential regions for market expansion. Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to stay ahead. Ensure strong product availability, visibility, and execution across all channels. Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis for management. Oversee route-to-market planning and ensure proper coverage of all territories. Coordinate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution. Manage pricing, promotions, collections, and trade agreements efficiently. Handle field challenges, resolve customer issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably in snacks, chips, baker, or dry food categories. Strong understanding of the local market, distribution channels, and customer behavior. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop sales teams. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Results-driven, target-focused, and able to work under pressure. Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions. Strong network with distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts (added advantage). Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently.
