Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
· Sales & Market Development: Develop and implement the sales strategy for medium sections in the GCC region. Achieve sales targets and grow market share by developing new accounts and expanding existing customers.
· Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, distributors, and fabricators. Handle commercial and technical discussions and ensure quick resolution of issues.
· Market Intelligence & Pricing: Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and demand fluctuations. Recommend competitive pricing and product strategies, and provide regular market intelligence reports.
· Internal Coordination: Work with production planning, logistics, and QA teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely deliveries. Align rolling schedules with customer requirements.
· Credit & Collections: Monitor credit limits, support timely collections, and minimize overdue payments.
Desired Candidate Profile
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding sales of medium section products (beams, channels, angles, flats) across the UAE, GCC, and Oman markets. This is a customer-facing role with emphasis on building strong relationships, driving market penetration, and achieving sales and margin targets while ensuring a superior customer experience. Native Arabic speaker with excellent English communication (verbal & written). Strong negotiation skills, deep product knowledge of medium sections and applications, proficiency in ERP/CRM systems, and willingness to travel extensively in the GCC. Minimum 10 years of experience in the steel industry with proven exposure to medium section sales in the GCC. In-depth knowledge of customer base, procurement practices, and project pipelines in the UAE and GCC.
