Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial and sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, carriers, and agents.
  • Identify new business opportunities in ocean freight, air freight, land transport, and logistics services.
  • Lead, guide, and support the sales team to ensure effective pipeline management and closing of opportunities.
  • Prepare pricing proposals, negotiate rates with carriers, and ensure competitive customer quotations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust commercial strategies.
  • Work closely with operations and documentation teams to ensure service quality and smooth shipment execution.
  • Oversee the commercial performance of all branches and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Prepare periodic commercial reports, forecasts, and KPIs for top management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding (sales or commercial) in Egypt.
  • Strong knowledge of ocean, air, and inland logistics in Egypt.
  • Proven record in business development and key account management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills (able to manage, lead and grow the sales department)
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and develop strategy
