Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial and sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, carriers, and agents.
- Identify new business opportunities in ocean freight, air freight, land transport, and logistics services.
- Lead, guide, and support the sales team to ensure effective pipeline management and closing of opportunities.
- Prepare pricing proposals, negotiate rates with carriers, and ensure competitive customer quotations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust commercial strategies.
- Work closely with operations and documentation teams to ensure service quality and smooth shipment execution.
- Oversee the commercial performance of all branches and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Prepare periodic commercial reports, forecasts, and KPIs for top management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding (sales or commercial) in Egypt.
- Strong knowledge of ocean, air, and inland logistics in Egypt.
- Proven record in business development and key account management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills (able to manage, lead and grow the sales department)
- Ability to analyze market conditions and develop strategy
