Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and market share growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed individual and team objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the plastics and raw materials sector.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all sales activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in sales management, preferably within the plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Solid understanding of the sales cycle, customer relationship management, and key account management.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
