Roles & Responsibilities
The Role (What they are looking for):
They need a "hands-on strategist" someone who can take a marketing plan and turn it into the first 100 customers and a repeatable sales process.
Personal Qualities:
- Resilience and energy 90% of experiments will fail, and you need to keep going.
- Persuasion and charisma to get the first clients and partners excited.
- Flexibility and speed tactics might change every week.
- Systematic thinking you document processes from the start, so they can be scaled later.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Requirements (Must Have):
- Location: Must be based in and know the Egyptian market.
- Experience: Successfully launched a B2B or B2B2C product "from scratch". You were fully responsible for bringing it to market.
- Environment: Experience working in a startup limited budget, lots of uncertainty.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of AgriTech, complex B2B, or enterprise SaaS. You know how long sales cycles work and how important trust is.
- Launch Skills (Action-focused)
- Can turn a plan into a month-by-month action plan with clear KPIs for first sales
- Can create demand from zero: through face-to-face meetings, partnerships for feedback, targeted PR, conferences
- Analytics focus: Cares more about feedback from pilot clients than website traffic. Ready to change tactics quickly.
