Roles & Responsibilities

A leading company in the FMCG , cosmetics , and personal care industry is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales operations across Iraq and Syria . The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and leading the sales team to achieve ambitious business objectives. The Sales Manager will play a key role in expanding market share, building strong distributor and client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of country-specific sales strategies aligned with overall business goals. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Business Growth Develop and execute country-specific sales strategies aligned with regional and global business objectives. Drive market expansion through strategic planning, market analysis, and identification of new business opportunities. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to support business growth and decision-making. Achieve annual and monthly sales targets while ensuring sustainable revenue growth. Account & Distributor Management Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and strategic business partners. Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure successful execution of sales initiatives. Identify opportunities to strengthen distribution networks and increase market penetration. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and foster long-term business relationships. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to maximize performance and productivity. Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and implement development plans where necessary. Foster a results-oriented culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Financial & Operational Management Manage the sales budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources. Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and profitability across both markets. Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and internal procedures. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, and other internal departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of business plans. Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and market-specific initiatives. Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Sales, Business Development, or Leadership are considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and developing sales team.
Requirements
  • 4 6 years of experience as a Sales Manager, preferably within the FMCG, cosmetics, personal care, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sustainable business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Iraqi market and its commercial dynamics.
  • Experience managing distributors, key accounts, and commercial partnerships.
  • Based in Baghdad or willing to relocate.
  • Willingness to travel frequently between Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
