Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Planning and Development
  • Implement the country strategic objectives, by sales channel, to achieve China Gate s budget and revenues.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive sales plans to increase market share across air, sea, and land freight.
  • Identify and acquire new customers through corporate visits, outdoor sales meetings, and offline calls.
  • Relationship Management
  • Monitor the development of customer relationships across all sales channels.
  • Establish appropriate relationships and communicate with other relevant functional areas.
  • Provide input on potential product opportunities through identifying new developments within the customers or competitors within the local market.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate and empower sales team through effective and open communication, excellent leadership, regular performance feedback and teambuilding, in order to maximize customer satisfaction, business results and employee satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years' experience in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding industry.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.

Strong understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics market.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
