Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A Little Taste Of Your Day-to-day
Every day is different at IHG, but you ll mostly be:
Identify and develop potential clients in specified offline segments and incorporate into Sales Pipelines
Acquire thorough knowledge of respective accounts and their hospitality needs
Promote all the hotel s products and services
Conduct regular planned sales visitations to respective accounts
Understand client requirements and ensure that the products and services offered correspond effectively to their request
Provide after-sales service and ensure that all client feedback is taken seriously and escalated to relevant top management if necessary
Meet and exceed given Top-line Revenue objectives
Achieve set revenue targets for respective segments
Ensure cost effective sales activities are practices at all times
Work to increasing hotel profitability with higher yielding rates and lower cost of sales
Ensure accurate and timely reporting on the market and competitor information
Ensure accurate and timely reporting in sales activities, sales pipelines and all other assigned reports and task
Ensure team productivity by achieving sales visitation targets as well as other assigned sales activities such as telemarketing and canvassing
Any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the General Manager as deemed necessary, relevant and related in the course of work
What we need from you :
Minimum of 2-3 years Sales experience in 5* Hotel property Hospitality degree or equivalent Excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Sales Proven ability to creating new business opportunities Assertive, professional and positive with a proven ability to develop in a team environment Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment Valid driver's license is preferred.
