Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Sales Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Gather market and customer knowledge and develop country or regional strategies in alignment with the Sales Director.
- Customer relationship management at all management levels and all relevant functions incl. travel into the countries
- Develop and implement account plans with all customers to create value and business results.
- Provide monthly forecasts, generate an understanding of risks and opportunities, track results and develop corrective actions if needed.
- Develop and implement Marketing activities in close alignment with the Marketing team.
Desired Candidate Profile
University degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Proven track record in sales management or a similar role and extensive experience in the African markets assigned to the role, ideally within the Automotive Aftermarket.
Leadership & Cultural Acumen
- Ability to lead and motivate a team (if applicable), fostering a collaborative work environment.
- First hand experience living or working in the assigned regions it s a clear plus.
Professional Skills
- Strong analytical, strategic, and project management capabilities
- Ability to lead and motivate a team (if applicable), fostering a collaborative work environment.
Languages
- Fluent in English; French fluent for the French speaking markets
