Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The sales manager will be responsible for driving the sales growth, expanding market presence and managing key customer relationship.

The role focuses on build sustainable business with hospital and maintain excellent relationships with the principals as well as achieving revenue targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and clinical support


· Develop and assist the sales force in achieving their sales targets through ongoing field coaching, training programs (sales and product), sales meetings, regular 1 x 1 communication, and appropriate reward and recognition

· Conduct infield coaching to all team members seeking for developing their skills and knowledge

· Translate marketing strategies into day to day working sales and promotional strategy and driving this with the sales force.

· Analyse business drivers and what to change to produce results and grow business. Understands history and factors impacting current state and continually collects and analyses key market data.

· Actively seek, identify, analyse, and present new business opportunities and improvement ideas to senior management on an ongoing basis.

· Prepare demand and forecast, stock and consumption of key accounts in the assigned territory and attend the regular monthly related meeting.

· Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory and submit monthly major market dynamics.

· Maintain close relationships with key accounts, and ensure their requirements are being met by the company's products where possible.

· Appraise current and planned customer needs and advise on the application of company products and services to customer requirements.

· Represent company in a professional manner that aligns with company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

· Demonstrates a role leadership model to influence, persuade, persevere, motivate, and operate in a matrix environment and respecting the organizational culture.

· Negotiates the agreements (Annual Target & price list) with our partner supplier and close follow up with them to ensure mutual business relationship achieved.

· Control inventory of the company’s products and advise the General Manager on inventory needs and strategies. This involves adherence to inventory control norms and removal of dead or slow-moving stock under advice from the General Manager and / or the Finance Department.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, business administration or a related field.

· Minimum 5-8 years’ proven success as a high performing senior sales leader with experience in medical devices industry within intervention cardiology sector.

· Proven experience in Syria market is mandatory.

· Strong understanding hospitals workflow, procurement process, tender process and local market dynamics.

· Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage territory effectively.

· Fluency in Arabic is required, English proficiency is essential.
