Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Meet the set target or budget guidelines and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with Company’s policy / procedure and standards.
- Prepare and plans visits to customers and submit visit report.
- Provides timely, accurate and competitive price based on the metal price, while striving for maximum profit margin.
- Works with Architectural Sales team to understand client needs and recommend new products.
- Product knowledge and to be updated at all times about the new product range.
- Work with understanding with the Sales Co Ordinator’s to increase their productivity.
- Initiates and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by e-mails, telephone, and personal visits. Search for new clients who might benefit from company products and services, maximize customer potential in designated regions.
- Organize meeting with clients with support of the Senior Sales Manager / Commercial Director to finalize deals.
- Identification of Commercial risk.
- Introduce new customers and retain the existing with good service and support through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods and liaison with internal order-processing staff to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction from pre to post phases of services.
- Drives a culture of excellence.
- Promotes innovative ways to drive Sales.
- Use utmost discretion in dealing with matters of sensitive and confidential nature.
- Educate the customers for the best possible product and service the company the provide.
- Constantly improve and update knowledge, especially about product range, features, general extrusions industry, technical developments, market trends, selling techniques and customer handling skills which enhance his performance considerably.
- Carry out, monitor and report on market, competitor activities and customer surveys and provide relevant reports and information to the Management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business / Mechanical Engineering or any related stream / MBA /.
- 3 plus years’ experience preference for relevant industry (Aluminium Extrusions).
- Worked as Sales Executive with the relevant aluminium components.
