Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong track record in sales within the partnerships, exhibitions, and events industry and is eager to contribute to an expanding presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure high-value, strategic partnerships and exhibition contracts in the GCC market to meet revenue targets.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to pitching, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop compelling proposals and present bespoke partnership packages to potential partners.
- Assess potential ROI for existing and new clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, exhibitors, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track progress, and prepare regular sales reports.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and new commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with Programming, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure partners and exhibitors' commitments are seamlessly executed.
- Work closely with Finance to monitor revenue, profitability, and renewals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in partnerships, exhibitions, or commercial sales within the events, media, or related industries, preferably in the GCC.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of securing and delivering multi-million-dollar partnerships and exhibition contracts.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
- Strong knowledge of the GCC and global events market is highly preferred.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Willingness to travel within the GCC region.
