Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing Director
Responsibilities:
- Define the commercial and marketing strategy
- Development of the annual and multi-year commercial strategic plan
- Definition of sales objectives by segment and territory
- Definition and implementation of the marketing strategy (products and corporate)
- Commercial and marketing budget management
- Preparation of the annual commercial and marketing budget
- Definition of sales forecasts and regular monitoring of variances
- Monitoring of the achievement of sales, margin and profitability objectives
- Control of the use of marketing budgets and ROI (return on investment)
- Manage sales and marketing teams
- Direct supervision of Sales Managers (by segment)
- Supervision of the Commercial Technical Support (Application Technologists)
- Supervision of the Marketing & Market Development team
- Recruitment, training and development of teams
- Market development
- Identification of new markets, products and customers
- Active prospecting and development of new strategic accounts
- Negotiation of major contracts (Key Accounts)
- Customer relations and key account monitoring
- Loyalty and development of strategic customers
- Personalized management of complex projects with major clients
- Marketing development
- Management of external communication actions (trade shows, events, campaigns)
- Supervision of marketing tools (brochures, product sheets, digital media)
- Implementation and exploitation of market studies and competitive intelligence
- Interdepartmental collaboration
- Strong interface between Sales, R&D, Quality, Production and Supply Chain
- Participation in strategic product development decisions with R&D
Key skills:
- Strategic vision and ability to manage a complex commercial organization
- Excellent budget management skills
- Mastery of key account negotiation (Key Account Management)
- Good technical knowledge of food formulations
- Leadership, federator, ability to motivate and develop teams
- Ability to analyze and make quick decisions
- Creativity and sense of innovation in marketing
Desired Candidate Profile
Main mission:
- Manage the company's sales and marketing strategy to ensure:
- Sales growth,
- Profitability,
- Achievement of budgetary objectives,
- Development of new markets.
Formation: Bac+5 minimum (Food Engineer, MBA Marketing/Commercial, Business School)
Experience: Minimum 10 years in a similar position in food ingredients or BtoB Agro-food
Languages: French, fluent English, Arabic
Mastery of complex commercial techniques and B2B marketing
